Sauna needs more than heat.
Sauna is growing across Australia, and with that growth comes a chance to build something meaningful: welcoming places to gather, bathe, recover, connect and share heat.
We exist to support that growth with care. Through education, events, research, advocacy and international connection, the Australian Sauna Association helps bathers, builders, operators and researchers build a stronger sauna culture for Australia.
We also help with the real-world things that make sauna possible, from public access and council pathways to insurance, safety expectations and operating conditions, so more operators can thrive and more people can experience sauna at its best.

We do. For SA projects we usually ship the shell and coordinate local install.

Advocacy & public land
Saunas belong in beautiful places.
More and more mobile sauna operators are popping up across the country, placing saunas in our most beautiful public spaces. But they face expensive development applications, slow council replies, and locked-up access to the public land they need. We're building a council framework and case-study bank, and pushing for a clear approval pathway so good projects don't get stuck in red tape.

The art of the sauna ritual, coming home.
Aufguss is a trained master guiding heat, scent, and towel-work into a choreographed experience, often to music. It's grown into a global movement with its own World Championships. Australia isn't on that map yet. Led by Naomi Gregory, President of Aufguss Australia, we're building the training, the demonstrations, and the national pathway to change that.
